Making Decisions IV

Church teachings…

The last session on “Making Decisions” is where the difference lies in Christians and non-Christians.

As a Christian,
we should make our decisions
and ask this question:

“What would be most honoring to God?”

It means that:
I am here to give God honor
in everything I do..

1 Corinthians 6: 19 – 20
“Do you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit,
who is in you,
whom you received from God?
You are not your own;
you were bought with a price.
Therefore, honor God with your body.”

When you make decisions
based on bible teachings…
Your world becomes brighter

When you make decisions
Not based on truth
Darkness continues to fill your life.

In Matthew 5:14
“You are the light of the world
A city in the hill cannot be hidden.”

This can be a dangerous question
(for people misinterpret things…
like cults and other religous belief.
They somehow forgot that
God is love)

The question,
“What is most honoring to God?”
will draw you to a life
God wants you to be.

You are created to reflect
God’s light

For your glory is too small a thing to live for;
it’s all about God’s glory.

When we make decisions
and the outcome is good…
We then say,
“Thank God for his blessings”
and pass on the praise
and credit other people
who helped along the way.

Non Christians
like to credit themselves
for the good outcome

They are generally selfish
and self centered…
They think that
they are #1
and the world sees them bragging
their achievements.

Christians are humble
and know that
it was God who blesses them
and pass on the achievement
and credit other people
who have helped them
achieve what they have accomplished
and praise God.
